When my ancestors first came to America in the late 1800s they settled in Jamestown NY (a Swedish jubilee city) that is just outside of the worlds oldest and largest spiritualist community “Lilydale”.

My experience with dowsing began in 1979 when I bought a horse farm and needed to locate an additional well. I called the local well drilling company and they sent out an elderly man who walked over to my willow tree and took off a branch. He then started walking a grid pattern over the field. I began to laugh and he said “come on give it a try, I believe that you have the gift”. I then was asked by the company to go to other locations and help them to decide where to drill wells.
I joined the American Dowsing Society and found out dowsing can be used for many things. Human and animal energies, ley lines, gem mines, crop circles, police work etc. I studied with many prominent dowsers from all over the world and did personal research on countless sites. I have continued my dowsing since that day and have taught many others. I can give you a simple class on how to develop this ancient skill for yourself.

Ancient wisdom states that earth has a natural energy system that can be observed and measured. It is a bridge to infinity. Native Americans called it Spirit Paths. They would use power points for healing and shape shifting. Australian Aborigines called it Lines of Song and other worldly music was often recorded as being heard. The British called it Ley Lines and there is written documentation about ancient stone circles and many chapels being situated on these Ley lines. Asians referred to it as the Dance of the Dragon and often reported mysterious balls of light. There is much unexplained phenomena that happens at these Ley Lines and Vortexes. Science can't seem to explain it but here in St. Augustine we have a wealth of these energy centers and Sacred Sites. I don't believe that it was by accident that we are the Oldest City in America. Often when I go to the beach to cloud gaze and breath in the negative ions that are produced by the oceans waves, I feel more balanced and stress melts away. These negative ions give me a natural positive feeling that many experience from the movement of water (even after just a cleansing rain). I also experience a natural balancing energy when I am at a Sacred Site. At these points of power we receive and can transmit the awakening of our Sacred Self. Its at these places where we can easily experience the merging of our emotional, mental and Spiritual Being. Could it be that somewhere through human history we went wrong and lost this connection?
